Today, we’re touring a house located in the Seddon neighborhood of Melbourne. This home is bright, full of natural light, and isn’t afraid of color… so basically, everything I ever look for in a home.
The home opens with this rustic-minimal all-white kitchen. The wooden open shelving and kitchen island keep things from feeling to sterile. I also love the placement of the plant on the kitchen table because, why not?
And then there’s the living room- the colors are almost too beautiful for me to handle. From the taupe wall color, to the cognac-color leather chairs to that awesome mural art- they all play off of each other in the most perfect way.
I’ve never seen pressed tins used in wainscoting- what a brilliant idea! And the Art Nouveau pattern adds a really nice bit of character to this hallway.
Though I wouldn’t typically think to put toile wallpaper in a boy’s room, it totally works here.
Above is the daughter’s room. It isn’t overly feminine, yet it still feels like a perfect little girl’s room.
The end!
