I didn’t go to Coachella this year. HA! That implies that I’ve been before. The truth is, I’ve never been. I avoid large crowds like the plague. I don’t enjoy big concerts. I don’t drink a lot. I detest stinky armpits and people that haven’t showered for days. BUT, I do like amazing fashion, inspiring brands (and BANDS), crazy installations, good food, and beautiful weather… so maybe you will find me at Coachella next year?!? Anywhoo, had I been at Coachella this year, this is what you likely would’ve seen me in.
It doesn’t get happier than this this cropped Rainbow Good Vibes sweatshirt from Sub_Urban Riot. I actually took some scissors to it to make it a bit shorter than it was so that it would hit perfectly at my waist. It also comes in a black version. I decided to go with this flowy skirt from French Connection on the bottom to offset the structured nature of the sweatshirt. I loved the floral print and how the colors spoke to those in the rainbow on the sweatshirt! I’m also a firm believe that if you wear something with more coverage on top (like a sweater or sweatshirt), that you should balance it out with something that shows a bit of leg on bottom (like a pair of shorts, or a skirt with a side slit, like I have done here).
To finish off the look, I accessorized with this simple huggie star earring from The 2Bandits. It comes with a silver and gold version in the pair; I opted to wear the silver one here. And lastly, what is Coachella without a pair of boots? So, here, my go-to leather red booties. They are so old (I bought them at Zara a few years ago) but I find myself reaching for them again and again. I consider them a staple in my closet! And that, my friends, is No-Chella, the Dandy way!
And THAT is a perfect no-chella or coa-chella, or whichever, way ! LOL! I was going to say that this sweatshirt looks shorter, and there you go, you did cut it. I actually shortened a sweatshirt this past weekend too to wear over a button down shirt :), photos to come ~Monika
Very Cute and nice reasoning 🤣!
It is very nice outfit, I like this look!
