Happy #bumpday, everyone!
I think this may be my last bump style post- for real this time. While dressing for this belly has been an interesting challenge, and even fun at times, I will admit that I am much looking forward to fitting into some of my pre-pregnancy clothes again.
For this week’s bump style look, I started with an empire-waisted patchwork Zara dress. If there is one styling trick I’ve learned during these past nine months, it is that empire waists are both comfortable and flattering of a growing baby bump. With the dress riding a fine line between 70s boho chic and Little House on the Prairie, I decided to go with the 70s vibe. I paired the dress with my favorite black Sam Edelman fringe suede booties (which are on sale now!) and styled them with black socks to add a little bit of height to my calf. To finish off the look, I accessorized with a last year Zara purse in the perfect shade of pale blue (this Rebecca Minkoff is a near replica in terms of both size, shape, and color).
